Senior Project Manager
What’s the role?
As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be leading medium-to-large projects of moderate-to-high complexity and risk.
Your accountabilities include the following:
Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of areas within the programme. Identifies, assesses and manages risks.
Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
Ensures that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure.
Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets and are signed off.
Provides effective leadership to the team and takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
Carries out business impact assessment, to determine how changes from the current to the future processes and structures will affect business units and roles.
Creates business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment.
Determines the readiness levels with regard to upcoming changes; uncovers readiness gaps and creates and implements action plans to close the gaps prior to go-live.
Reports progress on readiness targets, and deployment activities, key operational metrics and return to productivity measures.
Defines the series and sequence of activities to ensure systems are ready to go-live.
Assesses risks inherent in proposed changes, to ensure any potential scheduling and performance issues have minimum impact on provision of other services.
Comply with IRM accountabilities as defined at the IRM accountabilities
What we need from you?
Minimum 3 Years’ end to end delivery experience managi(project budget >USD1M, delivery duration > 12 months, team size >10)
Outstanding leadership of interdependent and virtual teams delivering results through others
Extensive experience and proficiency in programme/project management and benefits realization
Visible and effective engagement, change management, communication, and presentation skills.
Highly experienced in communicating and partnering with stakeholders across organizations, levels, singly and in groups.
Degree level or holds a professional qualification.
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified (preferred)
