Operations Landscape Management Analyst

IT specialists are vital to how we leverage and deliver global digital solutions. You’re going to be a key part of the Mobility Service & Operations Management (SOM) team. This team delivers secure, reliable and affordable E2E IT operations to the Downstream Mobility business. As IT professionals with a business lens our focus is to unlock value and support Shell’s growth ambitions by growing our position as the largest retailer in the world. With the team having been forged from two separate teams as part of Reshape, One Team mindset will be a key part our culture.
What's the role
As an Operations Landscape Management Analyst, you are responsible for reviewing the landscapes and products for enhancement and continuous improvement opportunities.
Aside from above, you are expected for the following:
- Responsible for information risk management (IRM) and IT Controls compliance, as well as conformance to Health and Safety policies and legal and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for the identification of systemic issues in IT Landscapes, driving structural improvements while balancing costs with business value; supporting Service Operations Management (SOM) in optimizing landscape Total Cost of Ownership.
- Responsible for Operational Readiness for new demand, changes and projects impacting the portfolio – including analysing and understanding business functional and non-functional requirements – and provides sign off, with Agreement to Deploy and Agreement to Operate as key milestones.
- Ensure effective Major Incident (MI) management and swift service restoration (during Major Incidents) for Business Critical landscapes
What we need from you
- Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years of corporate IT experience
- Minimum Education or Certification: Degree related to IT or equivalent
- Extensive IT experience and proven experience in IT Management
- Hands-on and operational experience in Azure, .Net and SQL
- Preferable who have knowledge in ITIL Processes
- Be adept in leading large natural teams including multiple third parties
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- A continuous improvement mindset to drive operations of the future
- Proven customer focus and empathy
- Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with senior business stakeholders
- Resilience, courage and the willingness to challenge and manage business expectations
