Software Engineer - Pega
The Role
Where you fit in
You will be working within the Subsurface and Wells (SSW) IT organization. The said organization will be interfacing with leadership in Upstream Exploration and Projects & Technology (PT) Development. The team also works on partnering with the business leadership and other specific technology organizations to meet the critical reserves replacement and hydrocarbon maturation. The Subsurface and Wells (SSW) space represents the large investment to develop and implement new digital technologies as well as robust IT solutions.
What’s the role
Conducts Case Analysis, solutioning, design and implementation of Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega framework.
Utilizes business and technical knowledge in conducting the highest-level analyses regarding program/application/system and making strategic recommendations to management and client.
Initiates in the developing Business Applications and Rules within the Business Process Optimization and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Suite, integration, and other supporting applications.
Conduct client demos and collaborates with Mainframe, web, and client server-based legacy systems.
Helps overcome technical challenges, provide PoC (Proof of Concept) to client as required and take initiative as technical front.
Uses and promotes the use of best practice project management and testing tools by working in an Agile/Scrum -based work environment
What we need from you
5-8 year's work experience in software development within which at least 3 years is focused on Pega and Business Process Management System (BPMS)
Should have demonstrable understanding of BPMS methodology and the main features, workflow capabilities, their features and limitations.
Mandatory Certifications: Pega Certified System Architect (CSA), Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
Preferably a Pega Rules Process Commander (Pega PRPC) Version 8.X
Analyses, identifies, and logs enhancements/bugs for PEGA PRPC V8.X
Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds
Expands knowledge of capital markets & banking industry and processes/tools
