This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA looking to expand their knowledge and be part of a strategic program that will revolutionize the business. You will be working on a Greenfield, Cloud hosted Endur implementation, playing a key role in performing various stages of testing.

You will be bringing your expertise to the team, working hand-in-hand with dedicated BA, SME’s and developers to understand and develop test scenarios, building test packs required for functional, regression and integrations, design and automate the test approaches and defects management. A sense of team ownership and empowerment will be fostered.

Not only this, but the expansive reach of this program will give individuals the opportunity to build the depth of their end-to-end trading life cycle experience and expand their knowledge into new commodities.

What's the role

  • Support Endur & its associate interfaces in the landscape from a Functional standpoint.
  • As an Endur Tester the resource will work on project, discretionary, operational items. This would include Requirement Analysis, Formulating test scenarios, Acceptance Criteria, and Acceptance Test Plan and Management.
  • Regression testing, System Testing, System integration, and E2E process testing for new modules, and projects.
  •  Liaising with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders.
  • Design and build automation test frameworks.
  • Bug verification, tracking and fixing.
  • Test preparation, test design, execution, and reporting.
  • Defect management lifecycle.
  • Track and publish the status or development, maintenance, and execution of automation test suits.
  • Work as a key member of the Delivery Team to understand requirements and technical solutions under test.
  • Work with manual and integration testers, developers, and BAs to understand the business domain, and the system functionality.
  • Utilize the approved test automation frameworks to develop automation in a fast-paced agile environment.

What we need from you

  • Overall 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
  • At least 3 years in ETRM.
  • Bachelor's Degree related to IT or equivalent
  • Experience in commodity trading business - Gas, Power, carbon, environmental products.
  • Experience in FO, MO, BO and connected apps like SAP, Price management systems.
  • Experience in End of Day (EOD) and batch processes
  • Basic SQL and Endur Data model.
  • Experience in Endur application with knowledge of data model.
  • Experience in automation test.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in Kafka is a plus.
  • Experience in Monitoring solutions – Azure Insights / Grafana etc. is a plus
