Technical Lead - PEGA

The new Subsurface and Wells (SSW) IT organization brings together teams that were previously separated in Upstream and PT IT. The organization will be interfacing with leadership in Upstream Exploration, PT Development, PT Wells and IGB-New Business Development. This will include partnering with the business leadership and technology organizations to meet the critical reserves replacement and hydrocarbon maturation related goals for RDS. The SSW space represents one of the four key RDS Digitalization opportunities. With the large investment to develop and implement the new digital technologies, this organization will be working across the Business, PT, and IT organizations to design and implement robust IT solutions.
What's the role
- Pega Lead System Architect LSA is responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks
- Leads and participates in project teams
- Analyzes, Identifies and logs enhancements/bugs for PEGA PRPC V7.X
- Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega
- Provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
- Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features
- Drives design and development for major components of focused solutions
- Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices as defined by the team/organization/industry
- Your overall responsibilities include Use Case Analysis, solutioning, design and implementation of Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)
- Business Applications and Rules within the BPM (Business Process Optimization)/CRM(Customer Relationship Management) Suite and integration between the BPM/CRM suite and supporting applications
- Contributes to best practice definitions
- Critically reviews work of other team members and drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule
- Conduct client demos
What we need from you
- At least 14+ years of overall working experience
- At least 6 years' experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions, including leadership role in design to develop shared/reusable enterprise rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander
- At least 4 years’ experience with PRPC v5.x (preferably V5.3 or above) with experience in new Pega capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree related to Engineering or equivalent
- Experienced in Pega systems PRPC (PEGA Rules Process Commander) Version 8.X
- Experience as Pega consultant who focuses on application design, rule development or process architecting
- Extensive experience using Pega PRPC and Pega framework, developer proficient with the Pega implementation cycle, including tool installation, business application and rules development, business process modeling, testing, and deployment.
- Experience on Pega CPM, Smart Investigate frameworks preferred
- Should have demonstrable understanding of the BPMS (Business Process Management System) methodology and the main features of BPMS workflow capabilities, their features and limitations.
- Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles
- Mandatory Certifications: Requires certifications in Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
- Has an advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V7.X tools and leads development activities
- Knowledge of PEGA PRPC V7.X architecture
- Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds
- Expands knowledge of capital markets & banking industry and processes/tools
