As part of the Planning & Integration Team in Argentina, is responsible for supporting Operating Plan (OP), our Batch investments and Performance Investment Reviews. Additionally, the Data Analyst supports the reservoir engineers, development planners and economists in the P&I team with data analysis and documentation for OP, maintains and builds key dashboards and ensures proper visibility on investment performance.
Accountabilities and Behaviors:
- Support team with Batches including compiling data inputs, running production profiles in Enersight and building document
- Integrate data and develop conclusions in support of Performance Investment Reviews (PIRs)
- Manage existing and develop new PowerBI dashboards as needed for the asset (Argentina Weekly, OP Dashboard, Asset KPI, Pad Ranking, Shales Technical Performance)
- Compile and send Weekly Internal Reports
- Issue weekly, quarterly and annual report to Secreteria de Energia
- Integrate production data from NOV and SOV blocks to enable commercial commitments via Production Forecast meeting
- Accept high workloads and peak times (OP) combined with a willingness to support team members by load leveling
- Support Planning and Integration Manager in the AFE & GIP process
- Ability to influence informally and work across various technical disciplines.
- During non-peak OP workload times, supports production data quality and capital phasing.
- Continuously explore ideas to reduce effort, automate and simplify workflows.
Required competencies:
- Spoken and Writing English is a must.
- Excel and other database management tools (MS Access)
- Ability to learn PowerBI and interface with PowerBI support team
- Enersight for forecasting production and capital profiles
- Programming skills (Python, VBA, Sequel) and MS database skills are a plus
- Demonstrated aptitude to adopting new ways of working and finding more efficient workflows and tools to manage large dataflows
