  • Purpose of this role is to provide Production Technology (PT) technical support for assets especially in the WRFM domain.  This role is expected to have more focus on PT topics such as Well Performance, Well & Completion Conceptual Desing, Well Interventions, Production Safeguarding & Optimization, Well Integrity Management, IPSM, etc. with objective to support WRFM in assets.

What we need from you

Purpose of this role is to provide technical support for various WRFM (Wells, Reservoir, and Facility Management) TDM (Technical Data Management) projects in Deepwater, Conventional Oil and Gas in collaboration with the Embedded TDM current experts in the assets and globally.

In this role you will work with WRFM Deep Water projects and Subject Matter Expert's (SME's) to provide WRFM DM (Data Management) & Asset support consultation and support developing fields and producing assets worldwide for their critical data, supporting various WRFM Processes like Well integrity support.  Annual Review, Daily Production Review (DPR), Production System Optimization (PSO), etc. 

This role is expected to balance short-term requirements with longer-term strategy, actively seek and represent the interests of customers, stakeholders, and end users, and thus build a strong network by dealing with all levels of the organization.

  • Identify and execute WRFM data quality improvement activities, working closely with Embedded data manager in asset, Technical Reporting team in SS&WRFM, and the WRFM Core Team.

  • Participate in, contribute to (and chair) well reviews, facility reviews, Production System Optimization reviews, Produce the Limit workshops and/or Annual Field Performance Reviews.

  • Single point accountability for all critical data and metadata in the context of one or more selected Focus Asset by the Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Principal Technical Expert (PTE)/Asset focal points.

  • This position’s key accountability is to perform and support all aspects of production technology in support of WRFM, WRFM data preparation, Well integrity, IPSM support and ARPR.These activities include:

  • Implement a work program that will safeguard the asset UR and production potential; Identify and mature short-term oil/gas generation opportunities.; Ensure well integrity compliance. Ensure compliant resource volume estimation & reporting.

  • Production System Optimization

  • Responsible for reviewing ‘live’/’active’ well and reservoir data.

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities in the short / medium term for optimization – agreeing actions and owners and monitoring close-out. Here it should be noted that the medium to long term is often addressed through existing surveillance activities, the Production Support Engineer will be involved in and focus may be on ensuring the short to medium term is fully addressed.

  • Responsible for optimizing and managing the wells & facilities.

  • Responsible for validation of Well tests and for following data acquisition plan

  • Optimize field production performance and technical integrity as the focal point for contact between field operations and onshore supporting functions.

  • Artificial lift performance, analysis, and optimization where necessary.

  • Responsible for Short Term Production System Optimization (Optimization within the Operating Envelope and identification of Opportunities).

  • Monitor, Review, and Improve the execution of Smart Field Value loops for ST Plan and Forecasting, Unscheduled Deferment management, Well Integrity Management, Optimization within the

Typically:

Well Integrity Focal

Act as Well Integrity Focal Point for all the Well Integrity work in the Production Unit/EWIMS. Ensure that any Well Integrity issues are captured at any early stage and ensuring actions required to address Well Integrity are prioritized.

  • Ensure compliance with the Asset WIMS together with the Production Technologist, manage WIT/SIT planning and ensure Well Integrity related work is executed in time. Optimize yearly PM plan.

  • Perform Technical Reviews for wells with integrity problems and ensure the FSR deviation/eMOCs are raised with the requisite input and in a timely fashion. 

  • Act well integrity focal point as well for your respective asset and ensure that integrity issues are captured, and the required follow-up is prioritized accordingly.

  • Act as a key focal for WRFM factory support in well integrity space.

  • The candidate will actively engage with the Global WRFM team and play an active role in the WRFM Asset support.
