The Role

Creative Solutions is a dynamic team based in Shell’s Brand Centre of Excellence. We are responsible for the creation of a wide range of creative assets and projects, from delivering our iconic Make the Future festivals around the world to producing world-class films, digital, social and print content for a huge variety of channels. As an Events Coordinator, you will have a unique opportunity to support the planning and delivery of Shell-owned and Shell’s presence at multiple events, exhibitions and conferences targeting different audiences in the APAC region. You will be accountable for administrative and organisational tasks which contribute to the successful execution of our global events programme to a high professional standard and within budget. You will bring passion, proactivity and meticulous attention to detail to all tasks. You will be working closely with the Experiential Lead and supporting our Experiential Project Managers, meaning communications and collaboration skills are very important. Strong financial skills are also needed, as you will be providing budget administration. This is an entry level role with future progression opportunities for the right candidate to grow into more senior experiential roles.
  • Providing first-class events coordination, logistical and administrative support to our Experiential programme.
  • Ability to lead on assigned set tasks and activities supporting the planning and delivery of our events programme.
  • Coordinate event planning meetings, ensuring objectives, tasks, roles and timings are clearly defined and communicated to project team members.
  • Liaise effectively with vendors including AV and production companies, creative agencies, venues and hospitality providers to ensure everything is in order.
  • Management of PO approvals, permits and other contractual related work to ensure all documents are in order and vendors are paid promptly.
  • Possess software skills knowledge on Microsoft Office tools, travel bookings and budget management.
  • For specific events, be responsibile for logistics management, delegate registration, travel and accommodation, catering and other areas as required.
  • Support the onsite team in delivering events safely and successfully.
  • Be willing to support onsite at events held outside of standard working hours if required.
  • Bring energy, commitment and a desire to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.

  • Minimum 3 years’ project support/coordination experience within a global events, exhibitions or hospitality environment.
  • Have a proven track record in delivering high level corporate events.
  • Exemplary time management and great client facing skills are essential.
  • A keen sense of creativity and able to take initiatives.
  • Strong financial skills to support budget management.
  • Flexibility to adapt and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communications skills, including in written and verbal English.
  • Additional expertise in other Creative Solutions disciplines is desirable, e.g. Design, Film, Digital, Social and Photography.
