Airport Optimisation DACH
The Role
What’s the role?
This a key role in the Integrated Jet team, and a great entry point into the Shell Aviation commercial (sales & airport optimization) organization.
Provides opportunity to gain expertise in key aspects of Airport optimization (including tendering, forecasting, relationships airport authorities), with extensive exposure to T&S and to the global Aviation organization.
Shell Aviation is a dynamic business in the Downstream S&D portfolio that is responsible for both fuel and lubricants sales. Every 12 seconds we fuel an aircraft, either through our own into-plane operations or via joint-venture operations. Unlike other transportation fuels, the aviation fuel market was growing at an average rate of 2-3% per year globally (pre-Covid) and is bouncing back quickly. Shell Aviation's mission is to grow both our fuels and lubricants business to outpace market growth. End-to-end optimization together with Trading & Supply (T&S) is a cornerstone of Shell Aviation’s strategy through the ‘Integrated Jet’ model. As we move forward in the energy transition, Shell Aviation will continue to play an important role in supporting our customers to decarbonize the aviation sector using Sustainable Aviation Fuels & Carbon Offsets in the short and mid-term, and hydrogen in the long-term. It is an exciting time to join the team as we support our customers to grow back stronger and greener in the post pandemic recovery.
