The Fuels & EV Marketing Team is part of the Mobility Marketing DACH organization and owns responsibility for the Fuels & EV(destination & on the go) category management, the development of the non-traditional Fuels portfolio and the activation of promotions & campaignsand Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) for  B2C customers in DACH. The key purpose is to understand customers´ needs and adopt Shell´s fuels & EV portfolio accordingly. The scope of the Fuels Marketing Manager entails to set direction for Shell DACH´s portfolio strategy for traditional fuels and EV. Particular focus is to continue the growth journey for Shell´s premium fuels Shell V-Power Diesel and Shell V-Power Racing for the coming years and design the perfect customer journey during the transition from traditional fuels to EV. At the sametime you will own the marketing strategy of fuels & EV for Shell DACH to contribute significantly to the groupsemission reductioncommitments aligned with the Mobility ambitions 2025. You will lead a team of 7 Marketing Executives and 2 Category Managers being responsible for the DACH cluster. You will also be a member of the Marketing Management Team.

What is the role

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of 7 Marketing Executives across three markets and two Category Managers.

  • Ensure high standard people development and personal coaching of team members, partly in a virtual environment.

  • Act as owner of the Shell V-Power and Shell Recharge marketing growth strategy for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

  • Drive the Shell V-Power growth for Germany.

  • Deliver incremental growth on maingrade fuels through development and flawless execution of Mobility CVPs and partnerships.

  • Deliver volume growth for Austria and Switzerland through implementation of new Fuels CVPs and partnerships.

  • Act as owner of the B2CNon-Traditional Fuels (NTF) portfolio for DACH

  • Deliver a profitable B2C NTF strategy for Mobility DACH, incl. LPG, CNG and E-Mobility

  • Manage ATL and BTL budget in line with business and Marketing priorities, maximizing contribution to the bottom line in close collaboration with the Brand & Comms team 

  • Own Marketing planning process with Global Fuels Marketing for Retail DACH

  • Responsible for the development, set-up, and flawless activation of lead campaigns for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

  • Close collaboration with DACH Marketing Management, Projects & Technology, Mobility Business Transformation Lead and Global Fuels Marketing functions

  • Close collaboration with agencies for creative content, PR strategy, CRM content and campaign activation
