The Role

Where you fit in –

The Global Brand Lead North America - acts as the custodian of the Shell Recharge brand for all physical & digital touchpoints in Global Retail scope. Additionally, the role will act to support the North American marketing team in its delivery of the Shell Recharge brand ensuring consistency with the global strategy. 

What’s the role –

Brand Custodianship and Activation for Shell Recharge

  • Ensure that all physical and digital manifestations of the Shell Recharge brand are in line with globally established brand guidelines and compliant with visual identity guidelines

  • Support the Shell Recharge North American market in the marketing planning process to identify the right marketing objectives, creative executions and media / activation plan

  • Work with the Sponsorship team and other Lines of Business to design and deliver the activation around our sponsorship of Formula E and the Nissan team for North American locations.

  • Build a community of excellence amongst relevant marketing & delivery teams in North America – a team that pushes the boundaries and delivering innovative ways to capture consumer attention and build EV driver trust in the Shell Recharge brand

Building brand plan for Shell Recharge in North America

  • Share best practice learnings & executions from global markets to shape the most effective brand plan.

  • Monitor global trends impacting customer marketing activities to predict impact for the North American market.

  • Work hand in hand with the local brand and marketing teams to deliver brand & growth programs. 

  • Track and report the marketing plans to the global business.

Dimensions:

  • Managing the range of budgets on insight generation, brand strategy, sponsorship, innovation and events

  • Working with a series of external agencies and customers / partners on brand activation - e.g. Shell promotional events

  • Working with markets and across lines of business to deliver through the key market Coaching of marketing teams on E-Mobility and the Shell Recharge brand strategy

What we need from you -

  • A legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer

  • Degree in business/commercial, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent with at least eight (8) years’ experience in brand or marketing management.

  • Experience can be from either within brand functions or from agency/consulting firms.

Specific skills and experiences must include:

  • Has a Marketing / brand Management experience in E-Mobility is a plus

  • Stakeholder management experience in Global environment or a proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement.
