Jr. IT Infrastructure Project Manager
The Role
Shell is hiring a entry level Project Manager role in the IT Infrastructure organization. The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of multiple infrastructure projects in Shell.

What’s the role?
The Infrastructure Project Manager plans, controls and executes a project or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills.
You will be accountable for all aspects of successful on-budget and on-time project delivery of the projects assigned to you. This role will utilize your skills within Project Management, Risk Management, Benefits Management and Change Implementation Planning and Management.
On a daily basis, you will collaborate with a range of stakeholders including Shell business managers, service providers and onshore & offshore suppliers. Your team, as well as your scope, is global and remote in nature.
In this role you expected to:
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle, adhering to the Shell Project Delivery Framework (PDF) methodology and other standards.
- Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations.
- Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
- Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information; keep updated to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs and requirements, through testing and scope changes, to final solution.
- Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
- Create acceptance criteria and validate those solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing.
- Ensure that the business value intended by the work is explicit, agreed and delivered.
What we need from you?
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or a related study.
- At least 5 years relevant work experience.

- Project and Program Management
- Not required but preferred skills/experiences:
- Project management certification such as PMP® and agile certification.
