Key Account Manager CRT – EV Depot
The Role
Where You Fit In –
The Key Account Manager will work with the CRT Americas Team to establish a successful North American CRT business for Shell.
Own the end-to-end commercial delivery of strategic electrification projects. The role will focus on public and private depot projects that service commercial road transport fleets. Responsible for new EV business growth and maintaining existing client business to achieve annual sales and margin contribution goal

What’s the role –
Identify, qualify, propose, negotiate, and win business within the specific geographical areas in the Municipal, C&I, Utility, Transit and Fleet account segments
Develop robust prospect pipeline while building long term relationships with new customers.
Be the customer-facing sales lead for existing and future accounts
Manage hands on from prospecting to contract negotiation through project delivery and site commissioning processes to ensure customer satisfaction
Work closely with several key Shell groups to gain insight and inputs for proposal development, then have established handovers for build, commission, and operation of projects (Network, Convenience Retail, Supply, Pricing)
Special Challenges:
Managing multiple high-level stakeholders internally/externally, often with competing commercial priorities; a demonstrated ability to gain compromised buy-in from many executive level stakeholders.
Many emerging products markets - strong decision making with limited and incomplete information AND the ability to pivot and evolve thinking where needed.
Multiple large-scale opportunities (each with complex and emerging commercial and operational variables) will need to be prioritized with near term and long-term CAPEX availability.
What we need from you -
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent required
At least five (5) years relevant sales experience and deal making with ability to develop and deliver value from deals, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contractual terms and conditions.
Specific professional skills include:
The ability to run and manage long and complex sales cycles
Strong organization and communication skills
Must be a self-starter
