What's the role -
This is an exciting & demanding role to expand Shell’s ability to power e-Mobility, strengthen Shell Retail’s EV charging business and contribute to Shell Group’s net carbon footprint ambition.
The Americas E-Mobility team is responsible for delivering a world class CVP in e-mobility, that drives demand to help Shell achieve its ambition of being the leading player in on-the-go EV charging and thrive in the Energy transition. The team plays a central role in business case development for our investments, leveraging the Shell Recharge brand and drawing on customer insights to help predict and then drive underlying utilization.
This role will work side by side with NA e-Mobility Business Development Manager supporting deal origination by developing commercial proposals and supporting the BD Manager throughout the process until the agreement is executed.
Reporting to the Head of e-Mobility Americas, you will:
Develop and analyze CVPs and commercial terms depending on the region/business channel/partner size
Support and coordinate deal origination & negotiations working closely with the BD Manager
Collaborate with various teams across Shell Mobility & eMobility to ensure successful deal execution
Monitor and seek out grant opportunities with sub-sequential application submission with the authorities
Closely collaborate with Network delivery team and contracting & procurement to negotiate preferential rates wit utility companies
Manage opportunity process flow and the overall pipeline
Skills and Requirements
What We Need from You?
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Minimum 3 years business development/account management experience within EV space
Deep understanding of e-Mobility Ecosystem and value chain
Strong track record in delivering commercial opportunities and in managing complex projects
Highly numerate & comfortable with Excel & PowerPoint
Comfortable in-front of customers with great negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
Energy, flexibility and self-starter mentality
Passion for the Energy Transition

A strong commercial acumen: being comfortable with complex business models and deal structures in what is a new commercial business for Shell
Well developed project & opportunity management skills. Being able to lead and drive work across multiple workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of an opportunity across its lifecycle.
