
Supply Chain Manager
What’s the role
Shell is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the flow of materials supporting the Shell Recharge network of charging stations in North America.
Shell operates hundreds of chargers throughout the US and Canada and will be steadily expanding its footprint. The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role in ensuring new projects and ongoing maintenance workstreams always have the material to drive Shell’s premium customer experience across the network.
Accountabilities:
Execute on Shell procurement contracts, managing payment, fulfillment, and logistics workstreams with our vendors
Tactically manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective performance and delivery, enforcing commercial terms, and providing the worry-free delivery of materials to the rest of the Shell Recharge team safely
Manage our warehousing and logistics vendors, driving ongoing cost excellence and performance
Track inventory, build demand forecasts, and convene monthly Sales and Operations Planning check-ins
Partner with Deployment and Service teams to build procurement and delivery strategies for their bill of materials
Manage a Supply Chain Specialist that will support your team’s objectives
Oversee all purchase order & invoicing workstreams for the Shell Recharge business
Work with two finance specialists that will execute a number of enterprise resource management workstreams, and ensure a controlled and timely execution of those workstreams
Support Shell procurement teams with market-specific information and feedback
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or any other related field is a plus
At least 7 years’ relevant professional experience
Proven expertise in managing warehousing operations and logistics vendor relationships
Demonstrated expertise in managing hardware supply chains, with a preference for experience in EV charging systems
Skilled in demand planning, supply forecasting, and financial analysis
Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and NetSuite, including managing purchase approval workflows
Working knowledge of Salesforce and PowerBI
Note: This role is a virtual position based in the US
What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $136,000.00 - $204,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
