
T&S Supply Chain Business Developer
Job Description
The Trading & Supply Products business aims to maximize sustained value creation in oil products markets with effective management of HSSE performance and the necessary controls for regulated business activities to support overarching Downstream objectives of material cash generation and high return on capital. The scope of the Products business encompasses all activities globally, from lifting fuel components/products from equity refining and purchasing fuel components/products from third parties to delivering finished products to branded Marketing businesses and selling fuel products/components to counterparties, including global proprietary trading of fuels components/products. The T&S Business Development team supports the Cluster Operation team in implementing projects/studies to grow cash delivery further. T&S Supply Chain Business Developer mainly focuses on managing major capex projects, investment/divestment negotiation (asset-related), and significant cost reduction initiatives for his country/cluster. Additionally, she/he will look for new business opportunities from a trading angle (capacity trade, new product flow, etc.).
Accountabilities
Act as Business Opportunity Manager for big-ticket items projects (capex related) in the Maintain Margin and Growth categories. Coordinate both technical elements and align scope and business case with Operation/Business partners. Accountable for Investment Proposals(IP); provide business support during the post-IP execution phase. Manage acquisition/divestment projects to strengthen/align assets based on strategic needs. Run negotiations with external stakeholders required for scoping/executing those projects under his / her accountability. Participate in studies and be accountable for delivering projects further to align the supply chain with the strategic assets (buy/sell asset shares to ensure network strategic fit – lead related negotiation). Run all the negotiations directly with external stakeholders, who are required to scope/execute the projects under his / her accountability. Align with business partners to ensure smooth coordination and progress of all projects using an end-to-end approach. Reflect and propose changes once business activities are at risk. Constantly review and propose new ideas to extract cash from the existing Supply Chain. Support T&S operational colleagues in preparing and integrating supply chain changes whenever required. Build competitive intelligence to understand competition behaviour in the hydrocarbon and logistic environment. Recommend, as necessary, aggressive/defensive moves to react early to competition threats as an NBD focal point for the Trading desk.

T&S infrastructure in Türkiye consists of 11 fuel terminals.
3 Shell & Turcas owned terminals - 4 NOV terminals- 4 outside supply points.
Requirements
The incumbent (+10-15 years of experience) will need to operate within the often dynamic and fast-moving governance of the Turkish joint venture. He/she should be able to respond quickly and accurately to challenging and sometimes conflicting priorities to drive desired commercial results.
The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining composure is essential to success in dealing with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for those willing to work to deadlines in a lively, fast-moving, frequently changing environment where analytical skills, project management skills, strategic thinking, a commercial mindset, external focus, stakeholder management, and team player skills are important.
This is a commercial role that requires the incumbent to be contactable outside office hours to execute pressing commercial negotiations or resolve unplanned operational issues.
The incumbent will be a member of the T&S Europe/SA Business Development Team.
