The Role

As a Delivery scheduler you will be:

  • Creating schedules for truck deliveries in order to ensure timely and economical product delivery to Retail sites and B2B customers through the Order to delivery process

  • Creating and optimizing an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan

  • Ensuring scheduled deliveries are in line with safety and operational procedures and customers

  • Ensuring the truck diary is correctly set up in scheduling system

  • Ensuring Supply and product availability issues are reflected in scheduling system set-up

  • Allocating orders to trucks

  • Liaising with other teams that contribute to the Order to Delivery process,

  • Primary contact point for the hauliers to advise truck drivers of necessary amendments to plan

  • Handling customer enquiries to change/amend orders, evaluate the real need and feasibility for scheduling changes, and liaise with scheduling team where appropriate

  • Receiving urgent order requests and create urgent orders within framework of delivery promise

  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints

  • Czech language min. C1

  • Resilience for time pressure

  • Ability to deal with non-standard situations

  • Quick learning skills

  • Multitasking

  • Open minded during taking cost affected decisions

  • Excellent communication and issue resolution skills

  • Ability to apply proper solution under time pressure

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Logistics/planning experience will be an asset

    ***Schedulers are shift workers continuously rotating with other team members to provide weekend support (for CZ scope Sun-Friday only day shift)
