
Demand Planner
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our EMEA Lubricants Supply Chain team in Kraków for 18 month’s fixed term contract. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Shell’s business growth by developing accurate demand forecasts and optimizing supply chain capabilities.
As a Demand Planner, you will collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing teams and play a key role in shaping our planning processes. This role offers excellent exposure to commercial operations and opportunities for personal development within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop unconstrained demand forecasts at SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) level using statistical models and market insights.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment.
Manage portfolio changes in planning systems in a timely manner.
Participate in production capacity assessment meetings.
Support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance demand signal. quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working in both physical and virtual environments.
Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems; knowledge of planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro) is a plus.
Confident presentation skills and PowerPoint proficiency.
Proactive, curious, and goal-oriented mindset.
Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
Previous experience in supply chain planning is an advantage.
Hybrid Working Model - 2 days per week from the office.
