The Role:
As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will own the digital customer journey—from initial acquisition to nurturing and conversion—by managing and optimizing our regional CRM marketing automation and website infrastructure. Your efforts will directly impact our digital performance metrics and drive key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CRM & Marketing Automation:
- Manage and optimize our regional marketing automation engine (e.g., Salesforce-Pardot/Account Engagement), ensuring all digital communications—including periodic newsletters—are effectively executed.
- Educate colleagues on the functionality of CRM tools and ensure compliance with digital communication standards and regulations.
- Develop and lead automation setups for CRM, webinars, and multi-channel campaign flows.
2. Digital Communications & Website Management:
- Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy, novelty, and relevance of the Shell Lubricants websites across the EU.
- Design and optimize the visitor journey to maximize user engagement and conversion.
- Adapt stakeholder-generated content into dynamic digital communications and campaigns, including social media initiatives via platforms like Sprinklr.
3. Analytics & Continuous Improvement:
- Generate analytics and monitor the performance of digital communication initiatives with a focus on CRM-driven campaigns.
- Implement performance-based indicators (e.g., conversion rates, lead generation, engagement metrics) to continuously refine digital strategies.
- Stay informed on external digital marketing trends to maintain Shell’s competitive edge.
Key success metrics:
• Conversion Rate Optimization: Achieve and exceed set conversion targets from digital channels.
• Maintain high engagement levels across CRM and social media platforms, also through in-house generated content, measured through click-through and interaction rates.
• Lead Generation: Drive a measurable increase in qualified leads via targeted digital campaigns.
• Website Performance: Enhance user journey metrics including session duration, page views, and bounce rates across the regional websites.
Skills & Requirements:
• Extensive experience in CRM set-up and campaign management with mastery of Salesforce cloud for CRM processes.
• Proven track record in website management and digital communications.
• Strong analytical mindset with robust project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end digital marketing processes and deliver results through collaboration.
• Highly autonomous with a drive for excellence, complemented by strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• A Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and/or Business is preferred.
• Business fluency in English is required.
