Join our Contract & Procurement Operations Upstream Deepwater GoM (Gulf of Mexico) team at a pivotal time as we develop a full end-to-end Supply Chain, contributing to our organization's Journey to Excellence. We are looking for a Supply Chain Digital Lead to collaborate daily with our Supply Chain Team in the USA, working in US-central time (UTC-5 hours).

This role requires heavy reliance on big data, developing and implementing innovative digital solutions as well as exceptionally strong change management and stakeholder management skills. The Supply Chain Digital Lead is responsible for identifying performance gaps and managing projects to close performance gaps.

This role leads in providing valuable insights to the management team regarding digital capabilities, potential cost savings and overall supply chain performance.

Essentially, Supply Chain Digital Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's digital roadmap, managing cost improvements projects and driving successful digital transformation efforts.

As the Supply Chain Digital Lead, you will work closely with the GoM Supply Chain and Deepwater Upstream Supply Chain Leadership in Gulf of Mexico to drive integration, simplify the Supply Chain Work Processes, close gaps to TQ performance in supply chain space and deliver GoM SC Strategy by:

Accountabilities:

  • Utilize Power BI (including programming in DAX and M languages) and other digital tools (e.g. AI, LLM, Power Platform) to gather, analyse and visualize data for decision-making purposes.

  • Lead data-driven initiatives, including Business Intelligence solutions development, data quality management and data integration, to ensure accurate and reliable insights for decision-making.

  • Ensure current performance of Supply Chain is transparent, visible and clearly understood by stakeholders. Identify gaps to TQ SC performance, prepare plans to close the gaps. Ensure the plans are sound, clear, effective and they get the ‘buy-in’ and commitment from stakeholders and that they are implemented.

  • Drive and coordinate projects and initiatives to close the gaps to TQ performance across SC GOM.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize digital transformation opportunities, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing production processes, and improving overall performance.

  • Develop and implement digital transformation strategies and roadmaps, aligning them with business objectives and ensuring successful adoption of digital solutions across the organization.

  • Lead Natural Teams SCRUM methodology to deliver strategic objectives across SC GOM in cross-functional projects (e.g. Material Value Chain Strategy, Cross Line of Business value creation)

  • Coordinate with Central Manage Supply Chain and Strategy Teams and ensure GoM SC is aligned to global processes

  • Coordinate LOD1 (line of defence1-internal audit) across SC GOM

  • Ensure performance management processes are defined, developed and followed, including performance management for the supply chain organization as well as performance management for supply chain activities that occur in the business.

  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in digital technologies, proactively exploring new opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in the oil & gas production industry.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven and hands-on the job experience in data management, data analytics and leveraging data through Business Intelligence solutions in creating actual business transformation outcomes by empowering people and leading organizations through digital transformations.

  • Proficiency in Data Science: data mining, data manipulation, visualization based on Microsoft tools (POWER BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query)

  • Proficiency in a programming language: Python and/or SQL or DAX

  • Experience in building relational databases (preferably in Microsoft Azure or Access)

  • Experience in developing automation solutions (preferably in Power Automate or other RPA tools)

  • Ability to aggregate and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, dependencies in supply chain performance

  • Use data, performance metrics and dashboards as a tool to drive performance improvement across Supply Chain GOM processes and teams

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain Management methodologies

  • Very strong change management and project management skills to deliver tangible results through others with inclusive, collaborative, cross-functional teams

  • Working in advanced, fast-paced Agile Project Management environment

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills - ability to influence, persevere, and implement change where resistance to change is strong

  • A challenger and result driven personality

  • A Supply Chain or Technical Degree would be an advantage

  • Experience and understanding of the Upstream business would be an advantage.
