
CR Senior Advisor
Context
This role supports Shell’s ambition in Andean Region, Central America and Hispanic Caribbean (Including Paraguay) – the hub- to build trust, enhance reputation, and deliver more value with fewer emissions. As Senior Advisor Corporate Relations you will play a critical role in protecting and maximizing the value of current businesses and future opportunities. This requires bold, forward-thinking leadership in a dynamic and evolving environment.
This senior position offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the corporate relations agenda across the Andean Region, Central America, and the Hispanic Caribbean—driving strategic engagement, reputation management, and integrated risk-management across diverse markets. In addition, this position will champion Policy and Advocacy, Media Relations, Social Performance including Social investment, as well as a key leader in Crisis Management.
Where You Fit In
You will report to the General Manager of Corporate Relations for Latin America & the Caribbean (excluding Brazil) and be part of the Extended Leadership Team for the region. You will lead the development and execution of corporate relations strategies, working closely with Country Chairs (CCh), business leaders, and global teams to ensure alignment with Shell’s Corporate Relations dimensions, and business goals.
You will also collaborate with a regional network of professionals, promoting capability development, knowledge sharing, and consistent delivery across internal and external channels.
What’s the Role?
·Develop and implement the corporate relations strategy across the hub, ensuring alignment with the region (LAC), and business priorities across the hub as well as all lines of business, more value with less emissions.
·Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, offering counsel on reputation, stakeholder engagement, and issues management.
·Manage relationships with government entities, regulators, and communities to enable business objectives.
·Lead reputation and risk management efforts, including media engagement, crisis preparedness, and response.
·Drive internal change and engagement initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and employee alignment.
·Oversee the creation of impactful content and campaigns tailored to regional audiences, using data and insights to guide performance.
·Represent the hub in global Corporate Relations forums, contributing to Shell’s corporate narrative and brand evolution.
·Co-lead external engagements with senior stakeholders.
·Support strategic planning, performance reporting, and capability development across the regional Corporate Relations team.
·Champion Policy and Advocacy, Media Relations, Social Performance including Social investment, as well as Crisis Management.

·Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority and manage complex reputational challenges.
·Expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and integrated communications.
·Strong analytical skills and experience using data to measure impact and inform strategy.
·Proven experience advising cross-functional teams and collaborating across reporting lines.
·Fluent in English and Spanish.
