The Role

If you are passionate about customer-centricity and the energy transition, this is a pivotal role at the forefront of helping customers reach their decarbonization goals and bringing value to the Shell Group.

Where you fit in

Shell New Energies is developing clean energy solutions that will enable customers to meet their decarbonization goals and bring value to Shell as part of the Integrated Power Strategy.

Global Customer Solutions (GCS) is the center of excellence in Shell New Energies responsible for Global Enterprise Accounts for the Tech, Commercial, and Light Industry sectors, along with global marketing and product development.

The GCS team is being established to increase value for Shell by providing cleaner energy solutions to multi-national companies seeking to reduce the carbon footprint of their operations. The successful candidate will be shaping, leading, and supporting Shell’s combined efforts to build a world-class Enterprise Account team supporting Shell’s goal of providing more and cleaner energy solutions to some of the largest companies in the world.

This position has the responsibility to close world-class PPAs for the Tech, Commercial and the Light Industry sectors and support work for other Enterprise Account teams in Shell, working with Enterprise Account Managers and Regional Account Managers to maximize the Enterprise-wide value to both Shell and the customer.

The focus will be on contracting companies with operations on two or more continents that are seeking to meet sustainability targets through the acquisition of renewable energy and other energy solutions while managing the risk associated with the procurement process. This will be achieved through a combination of strategic relationship development at the C-suite level (to include Corporate Sustainability, Energy Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Risk) within multinational target organizations and aligning corporate strategy objectives and solutions at senior levels.
