The Role

What’s the role?
The Trade Capture Platform (TCP) promotes rapid business growth through streamlining the end-to-end technical process to onboard new data sources / exchanges using a modular, decomposed monolith by functionality, cloud native, highly decoupled, and agnostic architecture.

TCP is a key enabler for the organizations Straight Through Processing (STP) capabilities, which in turn, automates the processing of trades from external platforms into our Energy Trade and Risk Management (ETRMs), reduces risk around deal entry errors, increases efficiency for users and is essential for BAU.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Collaboratively define the product vision and strategy; whilst analyse, measure and drive success metrics and outcomes.

  • Manage a goal-oriented roadmap that empowers the product team.

  • Manage an Agile backlog in Azure DevOps that clearly defines Epics, Features, Product Backlog Items / Users Stories to capture the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ as acceptance criteria.

  • Lead product demonstrations and drive IT and Product comms across the organization.

  • Work closely with business operation units (e.g. Trading, Commercial Delivery, Operations, Marketing etc.) to grow the product in existing and into new areas.

  • Collaborate across multiple global teams and has some exposure to and interaction with business leadership.

  • Work independently under broad managerial supervision. Delivery the work as assigned, applying the work procedures and frameworks.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner in the business throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Has full accountability to manage relevant stakeholders, resources, technology roadmap, strategic dependencies, execution, maintenance of the product and business alignment.

What we need from you?

  • Extensive experience focused on energy trading.

  • Experience in Energy Trading, Trayport, Joule, ICE, Agile, IT Delivery and STP (Straight Through Processing)
