Senior CFIN Functional Consultant
The Role
What’s the role?
Senior Functional Analyst (SME): Expertise in SAP S4 Central Finance application development capabilities for the Finance Business area across Shell enterprise. Responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of their clients and stakeholders. Will be extensively working on SAP S/4 Central Finance project.
Your task as a Senior Functional Analyst would include the following:
Understanding of Business requirements and develop the IT Solution by working along with Process Architects/Design Authorities
Undertake Problem Analysis to identify root causes of incidents, escalating findings within the Line and Business, to minimize such incidents re-occurring
Participate as a member of project teams, either at the Base Location, or where agreed, at another Business location - specific scope or work activities to be agreed as part of the project set-up
Fully comply with and adhere to, all Group and Upstream IT standards and processes
What we need from you
As a Senior Functional Analyst, you should have the following skills:
Must Have:
Extensive experience in SAP FI with proven experience in SAP S4 Central Finance (CFIN)
Should have handled 1 or 2 S4 CFIN implementations and have strong experience in providing SAP FICO solutions for Finance business processes.
Work experience on the areas such as handling complex Change requests / enhancements is a must.
Should have good understanding of Finance Close, Consolidation and Group reporting activities.
Should be able to drive larger IT teams for resolution of Critical IT issues during Finance Close. *Skills with only Support experience or majority of support experience will not be Suitable.
Experience in delivering complete SAP S4 Central Finance solution, proficient in analysing and translating Business/Process requirements to technical requirements
Desirable:
Certain degree of knowledge in SAP MM/PM/PS modules will be an advantage
Well versed with SAP system implementation methodology
Dedication to meet the customer requirements and expectations, taking ownership of problems and respond in a proactive manner where appropriate.
Good problem analysis skills.
Good English communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
Experience in global implementation/support of an SAP solution
