Technical Asset Operations (TAO) team aims to develop central, competitive capabilities delivering end-to-end value through the AMS work processes as an integral part of our Downstream Manufacturing (DS-M), Integrated Gas & New Energies (IGNE) and Upstream (UP) asset teams. We support the business worldwide and often do so together with the deep capability of our Project & Technology (P&T), Information Technology (IT) and Finance & Data Operations (FO-Data) partners. You are going to play a vital role in the delivery of continued efficiency and effectiveness improvement by bringing cross-business learning on key processes.
What is the role
The Associate Engineer for Project Services will work with various customers, and stakeholders within various Shell Businesses, Functions, to execute RtP process, as well as delivering value through Bottom Line Impacts. The role will deliver substantial value to Shell Businesses and Functions by applying leading edge supply chain management techniques, applying supply/value chain analyses and Total Cost of Ownership modelling, and will work on data analysis and reporting to ensure E2E visibility to deliver end-to-end cost savings impacting RDS bottom line.
What we need from you
Perform the role of Purchase Requisition (PR) Technical Screener (data entry in SAP), for Materials and Services, serving as the interface between buyer and requestors.
Order approved materials and process service contract procurement actions adhering to standard, defined processes, and ensuring accuracy of information.
Good commercial sense and understanding of procurement.
Participate and comply with all safety programs.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Basic understanding of the Group CMCP process and commercial contract management technique
Assist with the continuous improvement and implementation of standardized work processes for effective materials and services requisitions.
Knowledge in RPP, Variation Order (VO), Service Entry Sheet (SES) creation, PO Closeout
Amenable to support assets in the US and Canada from 7PM to 4 AM (Manila)
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
University Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or other oil and gas related degree is preferred.
Preferably at least 2 years of work experience in basic procurement, RTP (request to pay), material management experience, cost engineering, and supporting the procurement.
Basic computer knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Access, etc
Preferred experience in following tools: SAP, Power BI
Ability to make decisions and execute with support of stakeholders.
Proven track record of execution excellence and delivering results.
Self-starter and an independent worker capable of collaborating in a team environment with an ability to build strong effective relationships with asset production teams while working remotely.
Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility.
Preferably with strong English proficiency in both oral and written.
Flexible and adaptable to change, with track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities and problem solving.
