What’s the role

The primary function of this role is to support US Mobility EV Deployment team by managing access to the budgeted capital funding required to support and deliver the annual Shell Recharge goals and objectives.  

The successful candidate will have access to a variety of staff across the United States who will rely upon the individual’s ability to understand and maneuver within company policies and procurement guidelines, who can balance and over-see payment to Shell’s Vendors and monitor payments, assist in managing budgets and latest estimates, and prioritize requests in support of the Shell Recharge business plan. The role does require the individual to be proficient within GSAP projects and procurement functions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provides support in managing multiple processes and systems (GSAP, SAVI and SharePoint site).
  • Planning of end-to-end project setup, budget management, purchase requisition creation and invoice resolution.
  • Improving productivity by helping to streamline the project management process.
  • Works autonomously within this defined scope, directly supporting project managers and specialists along while engaging with third party vendors.
  • Becomes the focal for ensuring stakeholders are able to inquire about the various stages of the projects: Finance Operations project setup and budgeting, Contracts and Procurement (CP) team for outline agreement set-ups, and Accounts Payable for invoice processing and payments.

Dimensions

  • Create up to 500 projects per year and manage multiple purchase order lines annually.
  • Engage with 10 Requisitioners supporting the EV Deployment business in the US
  • Process PRs with quotes within 2 working days. Ensure there is no PR overdue for more than 8 calendar days.
  • Resolve workflows within 2 working days and manage up to 50+ workflows a week.

What you bring

  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English (written & oral)
  • Skilled in SAP Software specifically project systems and contracting and procurement.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Robust familiarity with GSAP and supporting systems
  • Proven Experience in Supply Chain Intelligence, Capital Project Management and Stakeholder Management
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships at all levels in the business is essential.
  • Graduate of Civil Engineering and experience in Construction is highly preferred.
