
IM & Power Platform Specialist
What's the role?
• Scope covers site specific or smaller Country / SBO / Region / Line of Business / Portfolio scope including a large number of diverse projects and programmes - supporting role / Large number of contractors.
• Supports a particular business, functional area, or expertise area by providing specialist advice and analysis to support more complex projects. Requires a deep understanding of the business/functional area that they support.
• Works under supervision within work agreements; work is being reviewed by manager. Delivers the works as assigned, applying the work procedures, frameworks. Decides which approach they take; however, guidance could be provided by more senior colleagues.
• Manages the relation with multiple (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on tactical level and manages opposite interests. Scale and severity of consequences if things go wrong are limited, involving some stakeholder management.
• Identifies areas of improvement when applying the existing methodology and suggests changes.
What you'll be doing
- Lead Automation Projects: Oversee the complex design, and drive development, and deployment of automation solutions using Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Lead Team Members: to ensure execution of projects are done to design spec and user satisfaction.
- Leadership: Mentor team members on new functionalities of the Power Platform, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Articulate Value: Develop one-pagers and other documentation to clearly articulate the value and impact of the work being undertaken.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Power Platform and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
- Senior Global Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business units around the globe to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- UI/UX Design: Ensure that all solutions are designed with a focus on user experience and interface design, creating intuitive and user-friendly applications.
- Solution Design: Ensure & architect scalable and efficient automation solutions that meet business requirements and deployment across the globe.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on Power Platform tools and best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation projects, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
What you bring
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Artificial Intelligence and other related technologies.
- UI/UX Design: Strong proficiency in UI/UX design principles and practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading projects and teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
