
HSE Tech
Responsible for assisting in implementation and monitoring of the Asset HSE Program in Neuquen, Argentina area. The successful candidate will work closely with HSE Focal Points to enhance the management of personnel health and safety (employees, contractors and members of the public) which is critical to continuous improvement in the overall HSE performance. Liaison with the different asset contractors and internally with those accountable for projects, wells and operations management. Provides line management with knowledgeable-to-expert advice on implementation of HSE MS for company staff and contractors. This will include guidance on:
- Risk assessment, safety psychology and incident prevention
- Incident investigation methodology, tools and techniques
- HSE Onboarding and Orientation
- Use of Shell Group HSE technology and tools
- Technical safety information and data
- New safety developments generated by HSE (safety and ERP), RDS, industry, government and contractors
- Interpretation of safety regulations, standards, policies, plans and programs HSE audits and inspections
- Emergency preparedness and Response
Dimensions
Be key person in orientation and HSE readiness of field supervisors; involves Safety Skills sign-off Facilitate and Participate in incident investigations, providing root cause analysis expertise, and follow-up with suggestions on prevention Monitor and track performance of company and contractor safety programs and plans. Will initiate programs to enhance safety for our contractor staff and prepare modifications to programs based on these studies Participate in HSE audits and Health Risk Assessments Arrange HSE training services for company staff and consultants
Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in Argentina on a full time basis.
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of work experience in production operations HSE roles
- Must have strong knowledge of Management Systems, Risk Assessment, Incident Prevention, Emergency Preparedness, Contractor Management, and HSE Legislation in Argentina
- Experience with Project Plans, Turnarounds Planning and Execution, Simops, HSE Case Methodology, Safety Psychology and Incident Management is highly preferred
