As a Maintenance Millwright, you will be responsible for the following duties below.
Accountabilities:
Operate tools and machinery to affect assigned work; this may include welding, rotating equipment, solids & liquids transfer systems, chemical hazards, and other work in an industrial facility
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance such as: Pump rebuilds, piping rebuilds, filter changes, and other repairs to plant equipment (this will include using a laser alignment tool, sheave alignment tools, and belt tension tools)
Use computer in daily routine, including data entry into computerized management maintenance system
Read and comprehend drawings including, but not limited to plant layout, P&ID, equipment drawings
Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts
Understand piping systems and their uses, including knowledge of and adherence to plant piping standards
Work in a chemical manufacturing environment
Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability
Communicate to operations employees, supervisors, and others regarding the identification of problems and completion of jobs in their area both verbally and in writing
What we need from you
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Millwright or Mechanic in an industrial environment and have a high school diploma or GED
Must possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Must be able to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation
Must be able to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation
Must be able to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends if needed
As a part of the preemployment selection process, candidates are required to submit to and receive satisfactory results from all preemployment background, medical, and reference checks, drug including hair and oral fluids testing

The rate for this position is $49.71. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
