What’s the role

As a Wellhead Maintenance Operations Technician (WHM Ops Tech), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the correct execution of both onshore and offshore Wellhead Maintenance (WHM) work.

In this role, you will execute all possible maintenance and repairs on all types of X-mas trees and Wellheads within the NAM. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe execution of WHM work programs according to described procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

You will be a valued member of the WHM team operating from our well services base in Hoogezand.

The core of the work from the Well Services department consists of performing well maintenance, production optimization and well suspension. This is mainly done through wireline, wellhead maintenance with the support of the workshop. The team provides important support to our assets and has unique expertise, knowledge and skills in the industry. It is used both onshore and offshore at our locations and is seen as 'best in class' industry wide.

What you’ll be doing

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will:

• Actively promote HSSE and Sustainable Development (SD) in all activities, ensuring compliance with business principles. You will also contribute to the development of annual safety goals and action plans
• Provide support to operation departments with various activities
• Operate all WHM equipment such as specialized equipment, Torque machines, , Compressors, Trucks, Vans and trailer etc.

Dimensions:

• Location: field based (on and offshore)
• On-site Time Requirements: standard field hours, with possible overtime/weekend
• Off hours calls – No, normally not required

*Currently, a review is ongoing towards our CWI Hoogezand Base activities (Incl Staff, Equipment and Services). This review includes various options including outsourcing. A decision is expected mid-2025. In case of outsourcing, this position and the incumbent will be in scope to transfer to the new owner.

What you bring

• Technical experience and/or commitment to developing skills via the accredited OPITO competence management system for WHM:  
  • Knowledge in maintenance X-mas trees and Wellheads (multiple brands)
  • Knowledge X-mas tree related internals items, spare parts
  • Knowlegde in different type of hydraulic actuators
  • Knowledge in reading / supply of X-mas tree / wellhead drawings and bill of materials
  • Knowledge with material request
• Technical education MBO or equivalent
• Business IT knowledge: Microsoft office 365 (Excel, Word etc.)
• Enthusiastic and strong drive to actively contribute during onsite execution
• Contribute to the improvement of WHM Tools, Trucks and other related WHM equipment
• Language proficiency: Dutch and English
• In the possession of the following certificates (or willing to achive)
  • VCA-VOL
  • Driving license, BE, CE
  • Forklift certificate
  • cherry picker certificate

Wat is de rol

Als Wellhead Maintenance Operations Technician (WHM Ops Tech) speel je een cruciale rol bij het juist uitvoeren van Wellhead Maintenance (WHM) werkzaamheden op on- en offshore locaties.

In deze rol voer je alle mogelijke onderhoud en reparaties uit aan alle soorten X-mastrees en Wellheads binnen de NAM. Jouw expertise is essentieel bij het waarborgen van het veilig uitvoeren van WHM volgens de beschreven procedures en toepasselijke wet- en regelgeving.

Je wordt ingedeeld in het WHM-team dat opereert vanuit onze well services basis in Hoogezand.

De kern van de werkzaamheden vanuit de afdeling Well Services bestaat uit het uitvoeren van putonderhoud, productieoptimalisatie en putophanging. Dit gebeurt voornamelijk door middel van wireline, wellhead onderhoud met ondersteuning van de werkplaats. Het team biedt belangrijke ondersteuning aan onze assets en heeft unieke expertise, kennis en vaardigheden in de branche. De werkzaamheden worden zowel onshore als offshore uitgevoerd en wordt in de hele sector gezien als 'best in class'.

Wat je gaat doen

Naast de hierboven genoemde verantwoordelijkheden, zul je:

• HSSE en Sustainable Development (SD) actief promoten in alle activiteiten, waarbij wordt gezorgd voor naleving van bedrijfsprincipes. Ook draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling van jaarlijkse veiligheidsdoelen en actieplannen
• Ondersteuning bieden aan operationele afdelingen bij verschillende activiteiten
• Bedienen van alle WHM-apparatuur zoals, torque machines, compressoren, vrachtwagens, bestelwagens en aanhangwagens enz

Dimensies:

• Locatie: in het veld (on- en offshore)
• Werktijden: standaard velduren, met mogelijke overuren/weekend
• Buiten normale uren:  – Nee, normaal gesproken niet vereist

*Momenteel is er een herziening gaande naar onze CWI Hoogezand Base activiteiten (Incl Personeel, Apparatuur en Diensten). Deze beoordeling bevat verschillende opties, waaronder outsourcing. Een beslissing wordt medio 2025 verwacht. In geval van uitbesteding zal deze functie en de werknemer worden overgedragen aan de nieuwe eigenaar.

Wat je meebrengt

• Technische ervaring en/of toewijding aan het ontwikkelen van vaardigheden via het geaccrediteerde OPITO-competentiemanagementsysteem voor WHM: 
  • Kennis van onderhoud X-mas trees en Wellheads (meerdere merken)
  • Kennis X-mas tree gerelateerde interne artikelen, reserveonderdelen
  • Kennis van verschillende soorten hydraulische actuators
  • Kennis van het lezen / aanleveren van X-mas tree / wellheadtekeningen en stuklijsten
  • Kennis van materiaalvragen
• Technisch onderwijs MBO of gelijkwaardig
• Zakelijke IT-kennis: Microsoft office 365 (Excel, Word etc.)
• Enthousiaste en sterke drive om actief bij te dragen tijdens de uitvoering op locatie
• Bijdragen aan de verbetering van WHM-gereedschappen, trucks en andere gerelateerde WHM-apparatuur
• Taalvaardigheid: Nederlands en Engels
• In het bezit van de volgende certificaten (of bereid tot het behalen van)
  • VCA-VOL
  • Rijbewijs, BE, CE
  • Heftruck certificaat
  • Certificaat hoogwerker
