Customer Relationship Coordinator
What's the role?
To serve Shell Chemicals PODer (Propylene Oxide & Derivatives) business by taking responsibility of commercial relationship and product delivery management for a defined group of customers and proactively liaising with other functions within Shell Chemicals (Account Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, HSSE and etc) to ensure that the full range of Shell services are deployed in line with customer segmentation.
Acting as the primary customer contact to process customer orders in an efficient and error free way and deal with any customer queries or complaints. This includes order capture, commitment to orders, delivery schedule, resolution of obstacles to commitment (product supply, commercial, transport, HSSE and finance), confirmation, progression, order-amendments, documentation flow monitor, cash collection, managing complaints and indirect tax issues.
Building up an open and efficient communication together with the Sales Executive to manage costs versus service levels whilst achieving the desired level of customer satisfaction.
Pro-actively liaising with the Supply Coordinator and Sales Executive to ensure the product availability and credit issues are resolved with support from the credit organization as appropriate, ensuring receivables processes run smoothly and overdue payments are collected effectively without jeopardizing customer relationship.
Jointing ownership with the Sales Executive for the cash collection process as well as the duty to ensure customer master data is kept up to date, both in systems and in files. In addition, the Customer Relationship Coordinator must make sure that control, legal and fiscal requirements are met and that evidences/authorizations are kept safely and rigorously for audit purpose.
Liaising with Hauliers, Transport Co-coordinators, Supply Co-coordinators, supply points (third party suppliers and depots), freight forwarders and banks to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and satisfactorily and problems are resolved efficiently and timely is another requirement of the Customer Relationship Coordinator’s role.
Occasionally managing stock levels at customer leased shore tank through a Supplier Managed Inventory system.
What we need from you?
Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first value and behaviors will be taken into account during the selection process.
Good in English and native Mandarin speaker.
Self motivated, demonstrating initiative.
Demonstrate clear commitment to factors affecting HSSE.
Have proper knowledge of Quality & HSSE Management Systems, Incoterms and competition law and RMB payment method.
Strong team working, relationship building and listening skills, especially in a “virtual team” environment.
GSAP user preferred.
