As the primary Graduate Recruiter for Singapore, you will support a portfolio of business partners across various functions and classes of business, understanding the business context and talent strategy in order to secure top talent for Shell’s Graduate Programme. Working in a global team, this position will be primarily responsible for the Singapore market as well graduate delivery in Indonesia and Thailand.
What’s the role?
As Graduate Recruiter, we’ll be looking to you to:
Develop trusted relationships and 2-way engagement with a variety of business partners (hiring managers, Talent Advisors and HR) to understand business strategy and priorities, available graduate designated roles, and talent needs both short and longer term.
Hold professional Job Brief Meeting with hiring managers to fully inform on resourcing strategy and ensure DE&I priorities are established.
Working across Graduate vacancies, partner with the sourcing and marketing teams to determine the right sourcing method and marketing activities for identifying high-fit candidates.
Manage the successful recruitment (quality, speed, cost and diversity of end-to-end pipeline) of approximately 30-40 graduate intake per year.
You will be the key engagement point for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
Be a visible Shell Ambassador in the external market, engaging with universities, relevant networks and associations, as relevant to the portfolio of roles.
Screen and differentiate candidate capabilities to shortlist and guide business on objective hiring decisions.
Build a continuous, collaborative delivery partnership with key resourcing teams, including Global Sourcing, Resourcing Operations, Talent Operations and Recruitment Marketing. Ensure clarity and alignment across these stakeholders to enable coordinated and effective posting, screening, assessment and offer management.
Ensure data quality and timely, accurate tracking and recording of information in recruiting systems for positions and candidates
Identifying and leading work to improve the ongoing delivery and operational effectiveness of Resourcing.
Be a frontline bastion of integrity in Shell decision making for hiring. Understand and adhere to high standards of compliance across all accountabilities. Take personal responsibility for data protection, equal opportunities always in addition to HSSE and Shell governance policies.
What we need from you
You’ll ideally have:
At least 5 years experience of working in a matrix global environment preferably in Graduate Recruitment, Campus Recruitment, Internship and/or Scholarship space
Experience in analyzing marketing trends and strong sense of brand ambassadorship
Strong business partnering and ability to work with stakeholders throughout the entire organization and with external parties, locally as well as globally
Excellent business acumen and value delivery
Ability to adapt to changes proactively by being agile
