WHERE YOU FIT IN
Shell’s Organisational Development Consulting organisation holds a central and flexible pool of Organisational Development (OD), Leadership and Strategic Change experts which are allocated to strategic change and transformation projects across Shell as well as hold the content expertise for Organisation Development methodologies, Team Development, Leadership consulting and interventions at executive levels. The OD Consultant Pool is located in 4 global hubs: United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Houston, and Singapore.
WHAT IS THE ROLE
The Organisation Development (OD) Consultant is a senior expert position within the OD consulting pool. The primary focus of the role is to frame, diagnose and address complex organisational challenges that often go across multiple Shell businesses, in order to structurally improve organisational health and performance, using deep OD and change skills and experience and apply Shell OD methods and tools. This role requires the ability to both deliver high quality change outcomes through personal intervention and lead OD project teams to deliver scaled change programmes.
We currently have vacancies at various senior consultancy levels, including manager, senior manager, and director level.
The key expertise areas we would like to add to our team are strategic execution, operating model and organizational design and transformative change (culture and process). WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You are an experienced and inspirational OD and change experts with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex OD and change projects and are passionate about sharing your experience through coaching and developing others.
Additionally, you will have:
Excellent relationship & stakeholder management skills - experience in working as trusted advisor at senior business leader level on critical, complex challenges.
Extensive professional knowledge and experience of delivering OD initiatives in complex and global organizations.
Strategic mindset and the ability to partner with senior business leaders at the highest level of the organisation on their critical OD challenges.
Strong project management background and the ability to lead large complex change projects independently.
Ability to diagnose business/organisation change issues and to identify appropriate type of intervention.
You bring a Learner Mindset, a curiosity to learn and grow, learn from mistakes, successes and speak up openly in a safe environment.
Passion for solving complex issues and deliver business results.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across various business and functions.
The role requires an exceptional collaborator who can work with colleagues across the business and various functions (e.g. HR, IT, Strategy, Learning) to deliver holistic high impact interventions for the business.
