Territory Manager - Eastern Ontario
The Role
The Ontario based Territory Manager (TM) delivers Sales & Operations targets for a large geographical territory (30-40 accounts). Success is achieved by working directly with dealers and partners and by utilizing the support from other teams (Ops Support, Marketing, Network, Trading and Supply) to deliver these targets. The Indirect Territory Manager (TM) monitors the Dealer site by site performance, provides counselling to underperforming sites, ensures that Dealers / Wholesalers implement the Retail Customer Value Proposition, and ensures compliance with the site operations/HSSE standards/Brand standards.
As the TM you will maintain positive dealer relationship, coach them on sound business practices, help them achieve their business and personal development targets. You will also be expected to actively solicit new profitable accounts and is responsible for volume and site growth in the Territory. Furthermore, you will also be accountable for the P&L, Volume, Margin and Customer Metrics targets set for the Territory.
Please Note:
This role is customer facing and as such most of the time is spent visiting Dealer locations. Overnight travel will be required (post Covid). High mobility and a valid non restricted class 5 driver’s license are a must.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage
- Must have legal authorization to work in the Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and multiple parallel activities
