What’s the role

As a Software QA Engineer – TOSCA, you'll be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge test automation solutions for the S4 programme. You'll have the opportunity to develop innovative automation scripts, integrate seamlessly with Focused Build, and tackle challenges head-on to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise will drive high-quality outcomes with minimal dependency on domain experts, making a significant impact on the success of the S4 Hana programme.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own responsibility to implement Test Automation solution for one of the modules in S4 programme to achieve E2E Test automation

  • Responsible for Test automation delivery by adopting the best practices for respective functional areas across S4 Hana FI, PM, CP & Analytics

  • Perform feasibility analysis, estimation, delivery, execution of automation scripts

  • Review of automation deliverables

  • Perform evergreening of automation artifacts & ensure it’s integrated with Focused Build

  • Remote execution using DEX feature in TOSCA

  • Understand SAP S4 Hana Business processes and develop automation assets with less dependency on Test Domain experts & Functional analysts

  • Resolve blockers & prioritize deliverables to ensure productive & quality outcome

  • Develop automation scripts across S4 Hana UI, API, Mobile using Tricentis’ Tosca framework best practices including third party applications spanning across several technologies (Web, Desktop) to deliver E2E Test automation suite for S4 Hana Programme

What you bring

  • 3-7 years of IT experience on various test automation tools across UI, API, Mobile, DB

  • At least 2 years of test automation experience using TOSCA for Web applications and API expertise in automation testing, SAP S4 testing

  • Experience in scripting tools such as Python, Shell Scripting etc.

  • Experience in automating integration testing using scripts, API

  • Experience in automating UI, API, and Mobile testing, with the ability to integrate these automation scripts into CI pipelines as part of a regression test suite using the Focused Build tool

  • Familiar with automating third party applications

  • Experienced with Agile methodologies and practices (Scrum)

  • Familiarity with Focused Build tool is highly desirable

  • Experience in Selenium and/or QTP is preferred

  • Azure Cloud experience is an added advantage

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and agile environment and able to adapt quickly to change in priorities

  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter with a continuous learner mindset
