Where You Fit:
Task with overseeing technical aspects related to LNG, Gas & Power ETRM Portfolios, collaborating with various stakeholders to provide IT solutions. They'll be pivotal in adhering to Shell's coding standards, serving as a Technical Expert & Lead in Openlink Endur solution. Operating in a dynamic environment, strong engagement and collaboration skills, along with adaptability, are crucial, especially in virtual team settings and across different geographies.
The role:
As an Technical Consultant, you'll provide comprehensive technical support for Endur and its associated interfaces, engaging in project work and BAU activities. Your responsibilities will span Requirement Analysis, Solution Design & Implementation, Unit Testing, coordination with stakeholders for UAT sign-off, and overseeing Production deployment & Post-Production support. Actively participating in design discussions and implementations, you'll drive the development of enhancements, facilitate change management communication, and lead development teams to deliver quality solutions within specified timelines. Collaboration with diverse business and IT stakeholders is key, advocating for global streamlined enterprise processes and information standardization while ensuring adherence to all IT procedures and policies.
What We Need from You:
At least 15 years of experience in Endur projects, demonstrating proficiency in managing end-to-end trade lifecycle processes.
Exhibit a deep understanding of the energy/commodity trading landscape, encompassing Oil, Gas, Power, LNG, or other commodities.
Demonstrate expertise in various aspects including Managers, Configurations, Deal setup, Connex framework, and Reporting.
Apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
Proven track record of effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds, both individually and in team settings.
Mandatory experience with Agile Development techniques.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, risk management, and software development lifecycle.
Capable of mentoring junior team members to foster a robust capability center focused on high-quality and timely delivery.
Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes within set timelines.
The base salary range for this position is $146,000 - $218,000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave to birthing mothers, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents. Additionally, employees are eligible for disability leave for up to 52 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
