Data Coordination Officer

The Data Analyst is part of the Performance & Integration (P&I) that directs and tracks the Downstream & Renewables IDT performance, drives DR-wide initiatives, develops the data office capability for DR and coordinates operations across Downstream IDT. They plan, controls and executes a project or programme or set of related ones to meet identified business needs and deliver business value.
What's the role
As the Data Coordination Officer, you will provide comprehensive support to the executive management team, with a strong focus on handling data-related communications, analysis, and coordination. This role requires advanced skills in planning, communication up to and including executive-level. The position supports strategic initiatives, facilitates seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders, and ensures efficient data-driven decision-making.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Communication
Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for executive-level meetings.
Manage external relationships and communications on behalf of the executives.
Provide high-level support to the executive management team, including scheduling and meeting preparation.
Act as the key point of contact for all data-related communications on behalf of the executive team.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely reporting and accuracy in data submissions.
Coordinate cross-functional team activities and follow-ups on action items.
Communication & Coordination:
Assist in the execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives involving data and reporting.
Liaise between departments to ensure the smooth implementation of data-centric projects.
Maintain timelines, prioritize deliverables, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Operational Excellence:
Continuously improve workflows and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency in data handling and executive support.
Develop templates, dashboards, and tools to simplify routine data-related tasks.
Support operational risk assessments and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
What we need from you
Proven experience in data analysis or data management, reporting, or analytics in a global corporation.
Advanced proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.
Prior experience providing high-level support to executive management.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting executive correspondence and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable managing competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Discreet and trustworthy, with a proven ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Highly resourceful and adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
