What is the role?

The SC Delivery Team will oversee the execution of all Supply Chain Operational services in a safe manner with a good service level against lowest cost. This includes provision of SC Operational services (Aviation, Marine, Supply base & Warehouse Ops, Road Transport, Lifting & Hoisting and Waste management) to the Brazil Upstream business.

The position of Logistics Analyst will include being a focal point for Wells operations. This role ensures the smooth execution of exploration and intervention campaigns. Your responsibilities include several key areas: collaborating with procurement teams to source materials, managing inventory levels, coordinating transportation logistics, developing efficient transportation strategies, anticipating risks, and acting as a central point of contact for logistics-related queries. 

Additionally, the Logistics Analyst will support the team to deep dive in the monthly performance through KPIs, cost/budget control and operations efficiency, identify and addressing gaps/ improvement opportunities within the team.

Main Accountabilities:

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to source and acquire necessary materials, equipment, and services for well operations.
  • Fully participate in developing Logistics Contracts and perform contractor business performance reviews.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of critical items, including bunkering activities.
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery logistics to ensure seamless movement of goods to well sites.
  • Act as a central point of contact for logistics-related queries.
  • Liaise with well engineers, field personnel and vendors to provide real-time updates on material availability and transportation schedules.
  • Develop efficient transportation strategies for moving equipment, tools, and personnel to well sites.
  • Prioritize cost/fuel consumption-effectiveness while maintaining timely delivery.

 Risk Mitigation and Contingency Planning:

  • Anticipate potential risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions, weather-related delays) and create contingency plans.
  • Ensure continuity of operations even in unforeseen circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., HSE, operations) to address safety and environmental concerns.
  • Coordinates the adjustments to the short team schedules, prioritization, develops alternative solutions and coordination for logistical support for emergencies.

Business Performance:

  • Manage safe, efficient and effective delivery to meet scheduled and ad hoc demand for MSC services, overview of all Logistics disciplines.
  • Identify challenges to the end-to-end delivery, and coordinates aligned alternative actions and prioritization.

What we need from you?

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Operations is preferred
  • Support the HSSE compliance and performance including Incident Management, Investigation and LFI
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build a solid partnership with offshore and asset operators
  • Support the input to Logistics Business Plan, Budget and Risks
  • Support SC Delivery Manager in ensuring requirements identified, assessed and met (Demand)
  • Manage and assess Logistics resources performance and to identify & implement improvement opportunities.
