
Network Operations Center Specialist
What’s the role
Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team. The NOC Specialist will work to drive excellent station uptime, including remote troubleshooting and vendor management for commissioning and maintenance workstreams that support our charging network.
This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our network of electric vehicle charging stations, as well as the contractor network that services and installs them. The daily tasks of a Field Service Specialist include, but are not limited to:
Proactively monitor charging station performance using various incoming issue detection workstreams (hardware reporting, customer reporting, analytical flags)
Perform root cause analysis to assess the reported issues and resolve, delegate or dispatch service work orders to engineering support or third-party contractors using discretion to determine the most appropriate resource for each task
Onboard and manage third-party contractors for our growing network
Forecast and create purchase orders and manage contractor invoices including approvals upon completion of work
Update open work orders, inform stakeholders on progress regarding site and station related work, report metrics to internal stakeholders
Schedule, direct, and assist technicians and installation contractors during the field commissioning process of new stations
Maintain interpersonal relationships with account managers, site hosts and other network stakeholders
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in technical roles involving comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software-integrated products, along with more than 3 years of leadership experience overseeing field operations, contractor coordination, or related project and customer support activities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated capability in high-volume service ticket management tools
Expert knowledge of charge point management systems and Open Charge Point Protocol
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in electrical construction or electrical systems maintenance
Knowledge and experience with EV charging systems, electrical systems, and/or communications networking
Experience with the Salesforce platform

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $101,000.00 - $151,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
