
Technical Program Manager - Operations
What’s the role
Shell is seeking a Technical Program Manager - Operations for its Shell Recharge North America business.
The Technical Program Manager – Operations will drive the North America eMobility business solutions portfolio. The North America Shell Recharge business works closely with internal and external product and engineering teams to aggregate a market-specific solution set of operational tools that enable the efficient, fast-moving execution of our strategy. Technical Program Managers in the North America eMobility business unit are responsible for ensuring the market-specific product roadmap is well-defined, aligned across product teams, and delivered in a timely manner.
This role will partner closely with Shell Recharge teams to define market-specific tooling solutions for the business’s needs, including accurate assessments of budgets and delivery timelines. In addition to developing close working relationships within your Shell Recharge North America business unit, you will also build partnerships with other Shell product and engineering groups such as Salesforce, AWS, Data Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, and IT teams, as well as vendor OEMs for project pipeline management, service ticketing, and other business operations tools. You will architect the optimal delivery pathway across these teams and manage a timely delivery of the roadmap. It will regularly report out roadmap progress to the business.
We are a small team that wears many hats. On a category-by-category basis, you may serve as a quasi-product manager or operations manager, too. This role is best fit by a candidate who is technical enough to understand how productivity and infrastructure tools work, organized enough to manage multiple small product roadmaps at once, and operational enough to leverage those tools to benefit the business in partnership with other teams.
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s degree is a plus
At least 5+ years’ experience in program management experience in areas relevant to business operations and tooling
Highly organized, expert-level understanding of technical program management tools to track and manage projects, and to communicate roadmap progress
Outstanding communications skills to ensure all roadmap stakeholders are aligned and informed
Possesses an agile, innovative mindset with the ability to leverage that mindset in a complex, large company setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience managing EV Charging roadmaps and programs

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $122,000.00 - $182,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
